And my own suggestions  for Apps.

Dice Bag Far

Saw this question from @trafalger today on Twitter, and thought it was a great topic, since I too have been checking out apps in preparation for Origins & GenCon.

All apps listed are for Android, but i’m sure there are similar if not the same ones available for iPhone.

So far I’ve checked out some dice rolling apps, and have decided I like Dice Bag by droid hut the best so far.  Has options I can use across many games I play, and you can add custom die.  There a are a ton of dice rollers… find one that suits your tastes!

Okay, so I’ve really been slacking lately.   So what exactly has been going on?

First up is The Army Painter’s Quick Shade in Strong Tone .  I’ve heard some really great things about this stuff, and want to give it a try.  I’ll post more when I have actually used it!

I also got an Iwata HP-C Plus airbrush, along with a really quiet air compressor (as opposed to the noisy pancake air compressor out in the garage that I’m convinced can raise zombies… more on that in a minute). This airbrush  intimidates the hell out of me, but it’s beautiful, and I want to learn to use it!
