Dice Bag Far

Saw this question from @trafalger today on Twitter, and thought it was a great topic, since I too have been checking out apps in preparation for Origins & GenCon.

All apps listed are for Android, but i’m sure there are similar if not the same ones available for iPhone.

So far I’ve checked out some dice rolling apps, and have decided I like Dice Bag by droid hut the best so far.  Has options I can use across many games I play, and you can add custom die.  There a are a ton of dice rollers… find one that suits your tastes!

For Warmachine/Hordes I like the iBodger app, by Wendell Hicken.

For Warhammer, there is a  Warhammer/40k Combat Assistant (and also a paid Pro version) by Jeff Becker.  iList by Alex Pivirotto is another army building app, for those of you who love a lot of data entry… can use for any game you feel so inclined to add information for.

MTG Utilities by Abscidetur Laboratories for Magic the Gathering is an app I’m still playing with now.  I’m trying to get the Deck Builder to work, but so far I think i need to feed it a data source, and I’ve not been so inclined, and haven’t bothered to check out what I need to do yet…   Also for MTG, is an app by Josh Hoffman called Mana Math.  This one seems a little basic, but could be handy none the less.

Duel Monsters Lite (and a paid full version) by BetaROM are available for Yugi-Oh fans.

So far I haven’t ponied up any cold hard cash for any of these apps.  I’m still scouting for more good finds.

Would love to hear from anyone with suggestions!  Drop me a line here, or on twitter.
