The Spoils Hand

This past Saturday at #Origins2010, I was introduced to the TCG The Spoils.   I found it a refreshing new spin on card gaming.  I’ll be comparing The Spoils to Magic: The Gathering often, but that’s because it’s the card game that I’m most familiar with. But before I talk about that, I’ll give you a quick tour of my card gaming background.

I first started playing these type of games back in 1994 with MTG.  It was a new type of game for me and I was enthralled with it.  This lasted until ’95/’96. I just didn’t have time and/or money to keep my addiction going.

Terrain – Paper Models

I ran across some PDF templates in my files today, and thought I’d share them.  Check out WoTC Fold Up Paper Models for a cost effective way to add some buildings to your gaming terrains.

Card stock is recommended, along with printing on a color laser or ink jet printer.  Or, you can print on regular paper, and use a spray adhesive to attach them to something a little sturdier, like cardboard or foam board.

The “Fold Up Instructions” list tools and tips.  The rest are all templates for various pieces.
